1. October 7, 2014 Confirmed NEW Sponsor - CBMSTUFF.com

AmiWest 2014 kicks off in two weeks and two days!
Confirmed NEW Sponsor - CBMSTUFF.com

We're always happy when new sponsors help us out. This year, for the very first time in AmiWest history, Jim Drew, originator of the Emplant board and many other tools, will be representing his own company - CBMSTUFF.com. When we asked him what to expect, here's what he said:

"For new old stock items I will be bringing Amiga ROM switch boards, EMPLANT boards, Boot Drive Selector boards, SYBIL units, Supercard Ami units, and more! I will also be bringing SuperCard Pro and FPGA Arcade Replay boards to demo and sell as well."

We're really looking forward to including Jim and CBMSTUFF in our AmiVerse for 2014 and the future. Come and celebrate with us as the ever-expanding AmiVerse takes shape.

You don't want to miss it!

2. October 8, 2014 Amigadave Returns to AmiWest!

AmigaDave Returns to AmiWest 2014!

Amiga Dave Morris, moderator on Amiga.org and unifying Amiga community member, returns to AmiWest 2014 after a bout with ill health last year. We look forward to his always informative presence and welcome him as an exhibitor at AmiWest 2014.

So what will he bring? It's anybody's guess. But we know Dave, and what he does is always of interest in the AmiVerse. Come and share his knowledge and contagious good attitude.

3. October 9, 2014 About those Banquet Tickets. . .

Some of you have been very concerned about your banquet ticket invoices. Yes, we did get your registration. Yes, we will invoice you soon. Please be patient.

Then there's the rest of you who haven't registered yet. Don't wait too long. There is a cutoff date coming up. After that date we depend upon the good graces of the caterer to come up with extra tickets. This caterer is very good - and consequently very busy. So we need to follow their procedures exactly.

Today is the best time to go to the banquet ticket link at the top of this page, register your intention, and relax - your reservation will be invoiced shortly. Don't be disappointed and miss our great banquet speaker this year, one Andy Broad from the UK. And I understand that he has some good things to present. You don't want to miss it!

4. October 15, 2014 Epsilon to Exhibit at AmiWest!

Epsilon to Exhibit at AmiWest!

For the first time in 16 years, Epsilon will join us at AmiWest. Epsilon is from Adelaide, Australia and will be bringing some interesting stuff to round out our AmiVerse presentation for AmiWest 2014. As he said in an email to us that he plans . . ."to bring [an] Acer AspireOne netbook (AROS), Apple Powerbook G4 15 (MORPHOS) and Minimig for display."

We look forward with anticipation to his exhibit. And at just a few days away, we hope that you have already made your plans to be at AmiWest 2014. You can meet Epsilon, Jim Drew, Trevor Dickinson, Matt Leaman and a bunch of other AmiVerse people.

But you can't meet them unless you're there with us. See you at AmiWest!

5. October 15, 2014 About those Banquet Tickets. . .(Part 2)

Today we invoiced those who have signed up for the AmiWest 2014 banquet. I must say that we have about twice as many signed up this year as we did last year at this point.

We don't want to leave anyone out. Please use the link at the top of this blog page to make your reservations for the banquet featuring Amiga developer and professional musician Andy Broad from the UK.

Tickets may sell out for this event! Don't be disappointed. Reserve yours today.
